Confirm the final reading order and whether the printed margins leave enough room for the requested finishing. Folding, cutting, binding and lamination affect the artwork and sheet preparation. Show the finished object and identify grain direction, fold positions, page order and the area that must stay clear of a cut or bind. If you supply already printed sheets, state the stock, dimensions, count and prior coatings. Agree a sample assembly and ask how handling losses or replacement sheets will be addressed. ## Plan your order: post-press What to send for a quote Describe the required operation: lamination, foil, embossing, binding, die-cutting or UV coating.
