### Specify the finished banner

Give the finished width and height, measurement units and quantity of each design. A 2 m by 1 m banner has a printed area of 2 m², but that calculation alone does not include finishing, hardware or installation. Send placement photos and describe the viewing distance, lighting, indoor or outdoor use and the intended fixing method.

### Choose material for the installation

- For frontlit PVC, confirm the exact substrate and how the graphic will be lit from the front.
- For mesh, discuss the open area, fixing method and supporting structure rather than assuming that every outdoor position has the same requirements.
- For a backlit graphic, identify the lightbox and its dimensions so the material and illumination can be considered together.
- For a textile display, provide the frame dimensions and ask about sewing or tensioning requirements.

### Compare the complete quotation

Ask which items are included: print material, artwork preparation, joins, reinforced or folded edges, grommets, a frame, delivery and installation. Agree the number and spacing of fixing points for the actual dimensions and support. An existing frame may need a different finished size or edge treatment from a freely suspended banner.
