# What banner size do I need?

Choose the banner dimensions from the mounting area, viewing distance, message and support system. For a roll-up, use the exact hardware template; 0.85 × 2 m and 1 × 2 m are examples of formats, not interchangeable specifications. Facade, fence and event banners need their own measured area, fixing allowances and installation assessment.

## Measure the visible area and the support separately

A banner's finished dimensions are not always the dimensions of the visible message. Mark frame overlaps, hems, pole pockets or other fixing areas on a measured photograph. Keep the logo, dates and contact information inside the area that remains readable after installation.

## Compare two placements before enlarging the file

For a backdrop, review the camera view and the position of people, furniture or equipment. For a fence or facade, review the approach and viewing distance. A larger file does not solve a blocked message or an unsuitable support.

## What to send for a size check

- A photograph of the location with a known measurement.
- The available width and height, plus any existing hardware model.
- The intended viewing position and the main text that must be read.
- Indoor or outdoor exposure, fixing access and the planned use period.

Confirm the final template before export. If an existing roll-up or frame is being reused, obtain its exact graphic specification rather than ordering from the visible face measurement alone.
