Start a business-card design with the person’s identity and the action a recipient should take. Prioritise one contact route, then organise the name, role and brand. Test both languages and the longest real text at the intended printed size before approving the layout.

A business card has limited space. Its purpose is to make the right information easy to find, not to reproduce a complete brochure. Secondary services, multiple social profiles and long explanations can move to a relevant web page reached through a clear link or QR code.

## Hierarchy and legibility

Giving the name, company and phone number identical emphasis makes them compete. Choose the main element and organise the rest around it. Inspect small type on paper: typeface construction, contrast and stock matter alongside the point size. A nominal minimum font size cannot guarantee comfortable reading for every font.

## Build a bilingual system

Check Georgian characters, Latin letters and numerals in the selected fonts. Have names and translated job titles approved. Two languages can use separate faces or a carefully divided single face. Test a long role title early instead of shrinking individual employees’ text to rescue an overloaded template.

Can I use a photograph of my logo?

Should every social profile appear?

Does screen approval establish exact print colour?
