Laminated cards combine a paper base with a film finish, so specify both rather than selecting only matte or gloss. Mark any area used for handwriting and test the intended pen on the chosen finish. If foil, spot varnish or a QR code is included, agree the layer sequence and check readability after the finishing choice.
