# neon sign for events

## Overview

An event sign needs a plan for transport and setup as well as a visual design. A sign attached to a backdrop has different support needs from one fixed to a permanent wall. Clarify the venue conditions and who will install, power, remove and store the item after the event.

## What to check before approval

- Provide the backdrop or support dimensions and mounting restrictions.
- Identify indoor or outdoor use and the venue’s power arrangement.
- Plan packaging and handling if the sign will be reused at later events.

## Prepare the production enquiry

Send Craftarea the event logo or wording, required size and venue schedule. Agree the construction, setup responsibilities and handover date after the site and support details have been assessed.
