# UV printing on glass

## Overview

Glass surfaces vary in coating, shape and intended use, and those details affect UV-ink adhesion. A decorative panel and a handled glass object need different assessment. Define which side is printed and how it will be viewed, then confirm surface preparation and any protection required for the application.

## What to check before approval

- Identify the glass type, coating and finished dimensions.
- Describe cleaning, moisture and whether the print area contacts food or drink.
- Check the proposed sample for appearance and adhesion on the actual surface.

## Prepare the production enquiry

Provide Craftarea the glass item or a clear specification, artwork and quantity. Confirm process suitability and care requirements before production; a general UV-print description is not a dishwasher or food-contact approval.
