# UV printing on leather

## Overview

Leather and leather-look materials have different coatings, textures and degrees of flexibility. A rigid notebook cover and a frequently bent accessory may need different decoration methods. UV printing should be considered only after the actual surface and its use are assessed; the material name alone does not establish adhesion or resistance to flexing.

## What to check before approval

- Identify genuine or synthetic material and the supplier model.
- Describe folds, bending and handling around the artwork area.
- Review colour and adhesion on a representative sample.

## Prepare the production enquiry

Send Craftarea the item, artwork dimensions and quantity. Ask whether UV printing or another available process suits the finish, and agree the sample and care expectations before accepting the order.
