Modern Dibond/Alucobond composite letters — weather-resistant, lightweight, and professional
Composite panel letters (Dibond, Alucobond) are made from aluminum composite material — two thin aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene core. This creates letters that are exceptionally flat, rigid, and lightweight. Composite letters offer a modern, clean aesthetic popular for corporate signage, building identification, and wayfinding. Craftarea CNC-routes composite panels into precise letterforms with clean, sharp edges.
Flat, clean surfaces with sharp edges create a contemporary professional look
Aluminum composite withstands outdoor conditions for 15+ years without fading or warping
Composite is lighter than solid aluminum or steel — ideal for large format letters and facade signage
PE core prevents bending and warping — letters stay perfectly flat over years
Can be stud-mounted, pin-mounted, or flush-mounted on any surface
Premium appearance at lower cost than solid metal — great value for large signage projects
Aluminum composite panel (ACP) — two thin aluminum sheets (0.3mm each) bonded to a PE core. Dibond and Alucobond are brand names for this material.
Composite is opaque, so it is typically used for non-illuminated or halo-lit letters. For channel letters, we use composite returns with acrylic face.
Standard: white, black, silver, gold, brushed aluminum. Premium: any RAL color through powder coating. Metallic and wood-effect finishes available.
Panel thickness: 3mm or 4mm. For volumetric depth, we create box-form letters with composite faces and returns — 20mm to 80mm deep.
The aluminum layers are recyclable. For full recyclability, we can use FR (fire-retardant) mineral-core composite panels.
Individual letters up to 2m height. For larger, we use multi-panel construction with invisible joints. Standard panel size is 150×305cm.
