Composite-panel lettering and built-up channel letters are different constructions. Specify whether you need a flat cut-out, a layered sign or an illuminated assembly, then provide panel thickness, finish and fixing surface. The panel’s actual core and specification matter for installation requirements; a trade name alone does not establish fire performance or structural suitability.

What is Dibond / Alucobond?
Aluminum composite panel (ACP) — two thin aluminum sheets (0.3mm each) bonded to a PE core. Dibond and Alucobond are brand names for this material.
Can composite letters be illuminated?
Composite is opaque, so it is typically used for non-illuminated or halo-lit letters. For channel letters, we use composite returns with acrylic face.
What colors are available?
Send a colour reference and the intended surface appearance. Review available face materials and finishes for this construction; a RAL reference does not establish that every coating or effect is available.
How thick are composite letters?
Panel thickness: 3mm or 4mm. For volumetric depth, we create box-form letters with composite faces and returns — 20mm to 80mm deep.
Are composite letters recyclable?
Recycling depends on the exact composite panel and local collection options. Metal faces, core, adhesive and electrical parts may need separate handling; a fire classification alone does not establish recyclability.
What is the maximum letter size?
Individual letters up to 2m height. For larger, we use multi-panel construction with invisible joints. Standard panel size is 150×305cm.
