Choose image resolution for the final printed dimensions, image detail and viewing distance. Send original photographs and state the artwork scale; the dpi value stored in a file alone cannot establish its quality. Confirm the required settings during artwork review.

Choose letter size from the actual viewing distance, typeface, contrast, lighting and viewing angle. Review the full message at the intended scale; there is no single distance-to-letter-size formula that works for every sign.

There is no single rule for every material. Lamination or another protective finish depends on the film, print system, exposure and cleaning. For vehicle graphics and permanent signs, check the selected material manufacturer’s requirements and the finish included in the quote.

The safe area depends on the finished dimensions, edge treatment, eyelets and mounting system. Agree the visible area, any extra material for hemming and the clearance around fixings before completing artwork; one fixed margin does not fit every banner.

Part of the lower panel attaches inside the cassette, and the visible area depends on the roll-up model. Use the template for the actual mechanism and keep logos and contact information within its confirmed visible area.

Start with the purpose: advertising, privacy or retaining daylight. Options include partial graphics and clear, frosted, opaque or perforated film. Assess the glass, lighting and required view from inside; perforation does not guarantee unchanged visibility.

Installation is agreed separately, since it depends on the site, height and access. A quote normally covers production.

The combinations of size, material, protection and installation are too many. Timing is agreed after the project review. Send the dimensions, material, indoor or outdoor use, finishing and installation, required date and collection or delivery location.

Compare display duration, indoor or outdoor use, visible dimensions, viewing distance and fixing. A framed poster, suspended banner and rigid sign need different construction. Send a site photograph and state whether you need printing alone or construction and installation too.
