What information we need
An accurate quote needs four answers. First, size: the desired dimensions in centimetres or metres. Second, placement: indoors or outdoors, on a wall, in a window, or hanging free. Third, duration: how long it will stay, which settles the lamination and material question. Fourth, artwork: whether you have a finished file or need design too. Artwork preparation — what we check
Wide-format artwork follows different rules from sheet printing. We check four things: resolution matched to viewing distance (not automatically 300 dpi), the safe area from the edge — 10 centimetres on banners because of the eyelets, colour space, and preservation of vector elements. Two problems appear most often: either the file is absurdly large (300 dpi on a six-metre banner), or the opposite — a small image pulled off the web that breaks into pixels at size.
