How is UV printing different from regular printing?
UV printing uses ultraviolet light to cure applied ink. It can be assessed for various substrates, including some paper and rigid materials, but curing does not automatically establish adhesion, outdoor life or suitability for food contact.
What size products can be printed?
Send the full item dimensions, thickness, weight and shape, not only the image size. Confirm access and handling for the object; splitting a large image into panels is a separate design and assembly decision.
Does it adhere well to glass and metal?
Glass and metal differ by coating, cleanliness and intended use. Confirm surface preparation and whether a compatibility or adhesion assessment is required on the actual item. Primer is not a universal guarantee of performance.
Can I order just 1 piece?
A single-item request can be assessed, but acceptance is not automatic. Provide the object surface, dimensions, flatness and artwork versions; separate different designs so setup and material requirements can be assessed accurately.
How long does it last?
Durability depends on the material, environment and care. Confirm the selected material’s specifications and any applicable warranty terms before ordering.
What file format should I provide?
Send original artwork with final dimensions and separate any white-ink or special-finish areas clearly. For transparent material, state the viewing side and whether the image is mirrored. Confirm file settings and image quality for the actual production method.
What is white ink for?
White ink can form an opaque layer beneath or around colour, or be a visible design element. Its placement changes the result on clear or dark material; approve the layer arrangement and viewing side.
How much does UV printing cost?
Specify the item or substrate supply, print area, sides, white-ink coverage, preparation and finishing. Confirm whether the quote includes the material and any compatibility check.
