What model size can be printed?
Send the file and final dimensions with units. One-piece production, orientation or splitting into sections are assessed for the model. If assembly is needed, agree joints and overall finished dimensions first.
Which material should I choose?
Describe loads, temperature, environment, flexibility and contact with other parts. A material name does not mean every grade has identical properties. Any suitability or documentation needed for a special application must be checked separately.
What should accompany my 3D file?
Provide units, finished dimensions, quantity, visible faces and critical connections. If you only have a sketch, agree modelling work and the file handover format separately. A printing brief does not automatically include engineering design.
How should I approve a prototype?
First decide whether it must demonstrate appearance or test dimensions and fit. Record the assessment criteria in advance. Agree the price and timing of a trial part separately from any later run.
