Window stickers can advertise an offer, mark a door or change privacy. Define whether the graphic is viewed from outside, inside or both sides, because that affects print orientation and backing. Clear, opaque, perforated and frosted materials serve different visual purposes and need their own specifications.

What to check before approval

• Identify the glass type and which side receives the film.
• Confirm the desired view-through effect and daylight conditions.
• Measure the panel and keep essential access or door information clear.

Map a multi-pane window before printing

Number each pane on a front-view photo and record its clear glass size, not the outside frame size. Mark door hinges, handles and the areas that move. For an image spanning several panes, show the gaps between frames in the layout so faces and important text do not disappear into those gaps.

Approve a view from the intended reading side. Inside application may require a different print orientation or backing from outside application; ask for the proposed layer order to be identified in the artwork approval.
