DTF T-shirt Printing — Logos and Artwork
Short answer
DTF T-shirt printing transfers artwork from film using a heat press. Possible placement includes the front, back or sleeve. Craftarea needs to assess the particular garment and construction: the collar and side seams must not obstruct press placement.
For an assessment, send the design, T-shirt model, quantity and preferred date. Confirm acceptance conditions before supplying your own items. Care instructions should suit both the item and the applied print.

Materials and method limitations
Send a photo of the item and its fabric composition. The collar and side seams must not obstruct press placement. Coated, heat-sensitive or unidentified fabrics require a separate compatibility check before printing.
Artwork and placement
Specify the print width, height and intended placement — the front, back or sleeve. A vector file is preferred for a logo; other images need sufficient quality at the actual print size. Review small details and print edges on the artwork.
Check the smallest t-shirt before approving a shared print size
A single artwork file may span several garment sizes, but the usable area changes with the cut. Check the smallest shirt, neckline and side seams before approving one print width for the run. If separate dimensions are needed, label each version and match it to the garment-size schedule.
- Keep actual print width and height with each approved artwork version.
- Use the garment neckline or another agreed reference point for placement.
- Match version, garment colour and size quantities before production.
