- An opaque composite panel or sign component suits the design.
- The panel finish and thickness meet the fabrication requirements.
- The selected grade is specified for the installation environment.

Choosing the construction
Use a translucent face where light needs to pass through it. For an opaque component, compare the appearance and fabrication options at the same dimensions. Halo lighting and mounting are design decisions for the complete assembly.
