Sublimation is a printing method where special ink turns to gas under heat and embeds into polyester fibres, making the design part of the fabric itself.

Sublimation works only on light-coloured polyester or polyester-coated surfaces (mugs, plates, mousepads, polyester apparel).
Result: the print is not on the surface — it becomes the surface, so it cannot peel and gradients reproduce with photo accuracy.
