DTF printing on fabric blends

The phrase fabric blend covers many different combinations. Fibre percentages, surface treatment and construction can change how a garment responds to heat and adhesive. A cotton-polyester blend should therefore be assessed by its actual specification, not assumed to behave like every other mixed fabric.

What to check before approval

• Provide the label composition and item model, including any coating.
• Describe stretch, intended wear and the normal care routine.
• Use a sample from the production garment where compatibility is uncertain.
