DTF printing on cotton
Overview
Cotton garments offer a range of weights, knits and finishes, all of which influence the appearance of a DTF transfer. The design also matters: a large filled area can feel different from separated lettering. Review the printed area on the chosen T-shirt, sweatshirt or bag before committing to a batch.
What to check before approval
- Identify the cotton item and any blend or surface treatment.
- Compare the intended print size with the usable area of the garment.
- Approve colour, coverage and feel on a representative sample where needed.
Prepare the production enquiry
Provide the cotton garment model, artwork dimensions and quantity. Ask Craftarea to confirm compatibility, application placement and the care instructions for the proposed garment-and-transfer combination.
