Which format should I use for an album?
Measure the usable album pocket or page area. Check both dimensions and whether the image may be cropped; a label such as standard album does not guarantee that every pocket fits the same photo size.
What is the difference between glossy and matte paper?
Compare sample surfaces if appearance matters: glossy surfaces can show stronger reflections, while matte textures can change perceived detail and colour. Confirm the actual paper; matte does not mean completely glare-free or fingerprint-proof.
What resolution photo should I send?
Send the original file with the target dimensions. Image quality is assessed from pixel dimensions and sharpness after cropping, at the intended viewing distance. Do not add empty pixels merely to reach a stated DPI value.
