Lamination
Lamination is the hot or cold bonding of a clear protective film over a printed surface to shield it from wear.
Detail
Matte, gloss, anti-scratch and outdoor protective films have different appearances and specifications. Choose a laminate compatible with the printed stock and ink.
Lamination can change apparent colour and feel. Review a finished sample where those properties matter, and confirm the protection claimed for the actual film rather than assuming every matte or outdoor laminate performs the same.
