Choose the banner dimensions from the mounting area, viewing distance, message and support system. For a roll-up, use the exact hardware template; 0.85 × 2 m and 1 × 2 m are examples of formats, not interchangeable specifications. Facade, fence and event banners need their own measured area, fixing allowances and installation assessment.

Business-card formats vary; 85 × 55 mm and 90 × 50 mm are common examples. A US-style 3.5 × 2 inch format is about 89 × 51 mm. DTF avoids separate screens for each colour and can suit detailed or personalised designs; screen printing has a different setup and unit-cost structure. Matte lamination gives a lower-gloss appearance; glossy lamination gives a reflective finish that can change the apparent colour and contrast. Fingerprints, scratching and feel depend on the actual film, so neither finish should be chosen from a universal premium or durability label. Compare samples of your design on the proposed paper and film.
